With its preseason slate in the books, the Detroit Lions are hard at work building their initial 53-man roster for the 2026 regular season.
The Lions have until 6 p.m. ET today to trim its roster down to the 53-man roster limit. Lions Wire is tracking all of the club's roster cuts.
In addition to tracking the roster cuts, Lions Wire will be updating the live active roster on this page, removing players as they are cut. The live roster should get down to 53 players right around the deadline, but the last few cuts are sometimes reported after the deadline has passed. With that in mind, here's how the roster stands as of the most recent update.
