This 1968 Ford Mustang coupe has been modified with Shelby-style rear bodywork, a hood scoop, Copper paintwork, 15″ Weld Racing Draglite wheels, four-wheel discs, rear air shocks, and a rear-mounted battery and fuel cell. Originally a T-code 200ci-powered Coupe, the car has been retrofitted with a 351ci Windsor V8 equipped with a COMP Cams Mutha Thumpr hydraulic camshaft, Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold, Holley 3310 four-barrel carburetor, MSD 6AL ignition, Hedman headers, and a dual exhaust system, and it is linked to a C-4 three-speed automatic transmission and an 8.8″ rear end. The car is believed to have been completed around 2008 and also features custom interior details and a sound system. Acquired by Automotive Market Solutions, a BaT Local Partner, in 2026 and subsequently offered on BaT in September 2026, this Mustang is now offered again at no reserve with a Marti Report, service records, spare parts, and a New Jersey title.

According to the seller, the body was refinished as part of a custom build that included shaving the side marker lights, smoothing the firewall, repairing a rust spot below the rear window, replacing the left-rear quarter apron, right-front frame section at the bumper mount, rear valance, and various body hardware. A Shelby-style rear end, side scoops, and a hood scoop were added, and the body trim, glass, and weatherstripping were replaced during the build. The seller notes that the left door latch intermittently fails to reset after opening.

Weld Racing 15″ Draglite wheels are mounted with staggered tires. The seller states that an adjustable brake proportioning valve and new transmission cooler lines were installed during the build along with rear air shocks, a Monte Carlo bar, and four-wheel disc brakes with front scoops.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in Parchment vinyl. A Pioneer DEH-P5800MP stereo is linked to kick-panel speakers, and a B&M ratchet shifter is mounted on the floor. The seller notes that the aftermarket head unit and Moon tachometer operate intermittently due to a wiring issue that is being repaired. An electric cooling fan is controlled by a manual switch mounted beneath the dashboard.

A Grant GT three-spoke steering wheel fronts the factory instrument cluster, while AutoMeter Sport-Comp gauges for water temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, voltage, and transmission temperature are mounted in the dashboard. An AutoMeter 10k-rpm tachometer with shift light is mounted beneath the dashboard, and an amber warning indicator has been added under the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 35k miles.

The 351 Windsor V8 was installed in 2008. Engine modifications include a COMP Cams Mutha Thumpr hydraulic camshaft, an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold, a Holley 3310 four-barrel carburetor, a roller timing set, MSD 6AL ignition with a Blaster 2 coil, and Ford Racing ignition wires. An aluminum radiator with an electric cooling fan, Hedman headers, a stainless-steel overflow tank, a chrome thermostat housing, a K&N air cleaner, a relocated oil filter, and a dual exhaust system were also installed. The selling dealer notes that the fuel pump and alternator were recently replaced.

The battery has been relocated to the trunk, where a fuel cell was installed.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a C-4 three-speed automatic transmission and an 8.8″ rear end with 4.11:1 gearing.
