Honda has just unveiled its new advanced rider-assistance system—aptly named Honda Sensing Ride. It essentially functions like its driver-assist technology, but is engineered for two-wheelers and riders.

Like the typical Honda Sensing, this system offers adaptive cruise control, collision warnings, and blind-spot monitoring. However, it also features more bike-centric functions like group-ride assist and rear-vehicle notification. The former acts like cruise control but is better tuned for other bikes, while the latter sends alerts when another vehicle is getting too close behind.

Sensing Ride will debut in 2027 on the CRF1150L Africa Twin Adventure Sports. Honda decided to roll out its new assistance technology on this particular bike as it is the latest product to be equipped with its dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
