You can call them also in general unknown fundamental "vacuum quanta" (although the model predicts that these must be a type spin-2 Bosons). The term vacuum gravitons used in the SGCV model is because the lack of any better definition and that If they did not have this superluminal vibration energy property the SGCV model theorizes, then they would appear to us as an undiscovered type of massive dark particle graviton of the vacuum.
The main fundamental particle of this presumably hidden substrate - the actual and not the false vacuum - is made of.
This superluminal vibration property of the SGCV model predicts, is maybe the exact reason why we cannot detect this "vacuum quanta" and importantly main reason possibly today that we cannot detect any dark sector dark matter. Although our currently best mainstream theories predict these dark matter particles to be massive (WIMPS), maybe, because they vibrate at a "superluminal state" of energy an out of phase of our reality, these would manifest in our spacetime as particles NOT having any equivalent mass therefore undetectable by known experiments. This hypothesis also explains why QED predicts the quantum vacuum having enormous energy although we empirically defect it as being empty and nothing? Maybe because simply "Empty Space" is actually superluminal energy?...
