Guy Shooting Himself With a Shotgun, is an exploitable meme template that depicts one cartoon character shooting himself in the head with a shotgun while another watches in confusion. As a meme, the format is used to show someone or something harming themselves by making a confusing or nonsensical move.
The meme uses characters designed by webcomic artist FallenChungus, but is not directly sourced from a FallenChungus comic. The shocked onlooker originates from the "Bro Visited His Friend" meme. The shotgun format first appeared online as early as October 21st, 2025. It became increasingly popular over the following months.
