Nigeria’s Flamingos defeated Black Maidens of Ghana 4-2 in their second game at the WAFU B U-17 Girls Cup on Friday night.

Akeem Busari’s side scored twice in the first half through Oluwakemi Adegbuyi and captain Chidi Harmony.

Nigeria were reduced to 10-player after Elizabeth Adesuyi was sent off one minute before the hour mark.

Seidatu Wahab reduced the deficit for Ghana four minutes later.

Mary Dunstan then capitalised on an error in the Ghanaian defence to score Nigeria’s third of the game, while Kaosarat Akanji netted the fourth three minutes from time.

Ghana reduced the deficit through Gloria Ameaa on the dot of 90 minutes.
