French trade unions and student groups are organizing a day of protests against rising living costs. The Yellow Vests movement plans a separate rally in central Paris, despite an official ban on gatherings. Nationwide demonstrations have been ongoing for weeks, with participants demanding wage increases and better conditions for youth. On Monday, Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu will meet with union representatives to discuss these issues.
