All cats are special in their own silly ways.

I admit, before adopting my cat, Mia, I didn't know anything about cats. I thought I did. I've always loved looking at cat things on the internet and attempting to pet stray cats outside. But I didn't know what it meant to have a cat, no really. And I didn't know how much I didn't know. She trusted me, though. She adopted me, knowing that I am more than willing to learn everything that I need to. And I did. I learned how to spot when she's not feeling well, I learned how to play with her, I learned what her different meows mean - everything. But of all the things that I learned, the one thing that surprised me the most is figuring out just how much personality cats have. And in my time on the internet and writing for ICHC, I have learned another thing: all cats have personalities, but orange cats have purrsonalities.

Orange cats are unique. They are special. They all share one brain cell. Just one. Between all of them. Every once in a while, one of them will have a turn with the brain cell and shock us all with their intelligence and cunning. The rest of the time… they are just orange. And we could not love them more for it.

We've seen orange cats with all kinds of quirks. There's an orange cat who is obsessed with snap peas. There's another orange cat who likes going number 1 in the sink just "to feel included". There's one who gets ready with his owner - every single morning without fail. And that is just the tip of the ice berg. And still, even after everything that we have seen, this viral pair of orange cats still surprised us. We have never seen a cat flirt before today. And now that we have, all we can is… of course he's orange.
