A group of 48 foreign pilgrims from Germany, Russia, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and Portugal arrived at Devghat in Gaya on Friday morning to perform traditional Pind Daan and Shradh rituals for their ancestors during the Pitru Paksha period. Dressed in traditional attire, the international visitors participated in the sacred rites guided by local priests like Loknath Gaud. The fifteen-day Pitru Paksha observance, which began on September 27 and runs through October 10, continues to draw global attention as a spiritual destination for ancestral homage, reflecting the enduring universal appeal of Gaya’s ancient cultural heritage.
