General Hospital fan complaints center on the trio. Chase can’t let go of Willow, Trina lectures others while keeping a secret of her own, and Lucy treats her daughter Serena as a pawn in her fight for Deception. These reactions come from Facebook’s fan spaces, so they reflect vocal groups rather than the entire audience.

They say Chase (Josh Swickard) keeps standing by Willow even as evidence against her piles up. Critics find that hard to stomach after he judged Brook Lynn for hiding her part in the crash involving Jordan and Curtis, since she swerved to avoid them. Viewers also note that he has lied and meddled in Michael’s business without facing the same verdict. The October 26 episode, where he and Brook Lynn divorced, sharpened the anger. Many viewers pin the split on his devotion to Willow, and some call him foolish for not fighting for the marriage.

Then Trina (Tabyana Ali) took fire for scolding Brook Lynn over her silence while she and Kai sit on the knowledge that Willow shot Drew. Some fans also argue that Jordan caused the crash and that Curtis chose to go after Isaiah on his own. Lastly, Lucy (Lynn Herring) irritates viewers by nudging Serena toward Michael and toward manipulating Jason to gain shares.

Fans also bristle that she demanded half of Brook Lynn’s shares in return for keeping quiet about their attempt to pin the crash on Willow. Longtime watchers add that the writers have drained her humor and warmth, leaving a one-note schemer. Her plans stumbled on October 28. Tracy and Brook Lynn pushed through a vote turning Deception into an ELQ subsidiary, and Jason sided with the Quartermaines, leaving Lucy and Serena stunned.
