IndiaAIFounders — Google TV’s latest surprise is a collection of features you’ve probably seen

TL;DR

Google TV is displaying a new fullscreen roundup highlighting six features and improvements.
Most of the highlighted features have been available for months, with one dating back to last year.
The roundup is appearing on Google TV Streamer and other Google TV devices, helping users discover features they may have missed.

Turning on your TV sometimes comes with a surprise, whether it’s a redesigned home screen or a new feature waiting to be explored. Google TV is now greeting some users with a fullscreen announcement highlighting its latest improvements. There’s just one catch: Most of these features aren’t particularly new, and some have been around for nearly a year.

As 9to5Google spotted, Google TV has started showing an October 2026 feature roundup on the Google TV Streamer and other supported devices. The screen highlights six additions, from free entertainment to new ways to enjoy your photos.
