"You have to stop her!" Compassionate Disaster Films has revealed their official trailer for an indie horror film titled The Cuckoo Clock, marking the feature debut of filmmaker Lisa Jay. This is debuting in limited theaters this October - just in time for the horror season to kick off. A young woman named Penny falls in love with the home health care nurse sent to care for her elderly Grandmother with dementia. When the nurse mysteriously disappears, Grandma’s cuckoo clock speaks to her with a warning that Grandma might be responsible. "The granddaughter, Penny, starts on seemingly solid ground... The eventual disappearance of the nurse, Megan, is the catalyst for her mental disintegration. But maybe not. Perhaps there's something deeper - an earlier event that triggered her.
