The high school girls golf season ended with several Greater Lansing girls golfers recording strong finishes as the state finals.
And several of those standouts have been recognized to the top all-state team by the Michigan Interscholastic Golf Coaches Association.
Bath sophomore Addi Duflo, Okemos sophomore Saisha Patil, Ionia senior Lila Redder and Okemos junior Anika Srivastava were each named to the MIGCA’s Super Team. They were among nine golfers named to the top all-state team that was headlined by Miss Golf winner Olivia Griswold of Portage Central.
Duflo finished as the Division 4 individual state champion while helping Bath capture a team state title. Patil was the individual state runner-up in Division 1 while Srivastava placed fourth overall to help Okemos place fourth as a team. Redder was the individual state runner-up in Division 3.
Charlotte, Fowler, Holt, Lansing Catholic, Owosso, St. Johns and Williamston were the other programs to have golfers named all-state.
Holt junior Racheeni Her was a first team all-state selection in Division 1. St. Johns freshman Ali Lightner earned honorable mention all-state recognition in Division 2.
Williamston senior Paige Radebach and Owosso sophomore Samantha Ross were named first team all-state in Division 3, while Charlotte senior Peyton Howarth and Lansing Catholic sophomore Eryn O’Connell earned honorable mention accolades.
