Rockstar Games released the launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 on October 15, confirming the game remains scheduled to arrive on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The footage offers another look at Jason and Lucia’s criminal partnership and is likely the final trailer before release, according to Eurogamer.

The trailer lands as a major pre-release checkpoint for one of gaming’s most anticipated launches. Vandal reports that the video runs for 90 seconds and combines gameplay with cinematic sequences; the footage appears to have been captured on PlayStation 5.

Rockstar’s earlier marketing beats have also included an extended look at the game. The GTA 6 extended look was another chance to get a glimpse of Leonida before the new trailer shifted attention back to its two leads and the November date.

Heists, close calls, and a new glimpse of The Keys

The trailer opens in The Keys, an area that Eurogamer notes had received relatively little attention in earlier trailers and gameplay footage. It then races through a mix of characters and set pieces, including heists and a helicopter escape that appears to go wrong.

Jason and Lucia also share an intimate shower scene. Other details invite speculation rather than confirmation: Lucia appears to wear an ankle tag, while a call to Jason seems to use reverse charges. Those moments could hint at parole or a call from jail, but the trailer does not establish either as part of the story.

The soundtrack brings its own notable reveal. The trailer uses Justice’s “Flower in a Hurricane,” featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. Meanwhile, the game’s dynamic weather and localized storms are among the details already drawing attention to the world Rockstar is building.
