I’ll start by saying I loved it, but reading reviews after, some of the poor reviews caught my attention. A lot essentially boiled down to: “I was told this would be a funny time travel story.” And that is kind of how the blurb read to me.
That being said, something that actually made me want to read it more (because I love weird shit) is that I kept seeing posts saying that it was “weird” or “not what I thought it would be.”
Personally I loved it for that, rather than in spite of that, but a lot of people seem kind of bummed / feel it was somehow missold?
Just struck me as interesting.
