BOOM! Studios has a brand new offering for Hellraiser fans coming in 2027. For the first time ever, the comic publisher will collect all six issues following Pinhead the Hell Priest in a single volume. The character first debuted in his own comic in 1993. New York Times best-selling writer Clive Barker created Pinhead.

Bloody Disgusting reports that Hellraiser Legacy: Pinhead is currently available for pre-order. The collection will hit comic book shelves on January 12, 2027. Fans can buy the comic digitally on iBooks, Google Play, and Kindle.

Baker wrote and directed the original Hellraiser movie, based on his novel The Hellbound Heart. It was first published in 1986. The movie spawned over 10 sequels and has since become a pillar of Hollywood horror. The franchise has also expanded into video games and comics.

What fans should know about the upcoming release?

Hellraider Legacy: Pinhead casts the Hell Priest in the unlikely position of a hero. The collection’s logline reads, “Hell is under attack from the ancient enemy called the Aggregate, and Pinhead is the only one who can restore order to the dark domain.”

The story begins with the arrival of the Aggregate, a being described as Hell’s oldest enemy. The Aggregate ambushed the Cenobites, beings that are essential for enforcing the laws of Hell. Cenobites are extradimensional sadomasochistic beings that keep Hell in running order. All of creation, including Heaven and Earth, depends on these rules for cosmic balance. The Aggregate’s assault on the Cenobites leaves only one of them standing: Pinhead.

Fans can order the paperback collection for $19.99. The collection includes Pinhead #1 through #6, collecting the entire run in a single trade paperback for the first time.
