Summer may be winding down, but there's plenty of sunshine to squeeze out of every smile, laugh, and wholesome meme.

This time of year has finally come again, and people debate whether to be happy or sad about it. We all have to endure it: the end of summer, back to school, the end of vacation… multiple things happen at once, and it can get overwhelming. While some are happy to be having a routine again, others are having a harder time coping with all of these and need a little break or a miracle to push through.

If you ask me, I'm more with the first group. I love having a structured routine during the year, and although I didn't go on vacation this summer, I still found myself more relaxed and flexible when it came down to my hobbies and activities throughout the day. Now that everyone is back, I'm happy to be having that routine that I love. I'll say, though, that I'll miss the comfort of being more chill.

If you feel you cannot relate to me and all you want is to go back in time to that first day of summer, I hear you. You're not the only one feeling this way, and I'm sure you are desperate and looking for an answer or something that will give you the fuel you need. I'm sure you tried a lot of things, and some may have worked, others not so much, but I'm here to bring you a new solution. And that is: happy memes.

Yes, although it can sound very simple, never doubt the power and how good they can make you feel. There are a lot of reasons as to why they are great at sending happiness your way, but the following is my favourite: since they trigger laughter and giggles, the brain sends an indication that there's no harm around and releases a hormone about happiness and chill vibes. It's not like the meme itself is powerful, but rather the effect they create on your body. If you don't believe me, try it for yourself!
