IndiaAIFounders — Hot gear: Sony PH expands ULT speaker lineup with new Tower models

Sony Philippines’ Beyond the Beat event on September 19 saw the launch of three new speakers under its ULT Power Sound series: the ULT Tower 5, the ULT Tower 7, and the ULT Tower Max. These portable sound systems are “designed to deliver deeper bass, powerful sound, and party-ready features.”

Common features across the new ULT Tower speakers include newly developed subwoofers, large-capacity speaker cabinets, and special airflow ducts for better bass and low-frequency performance.

The ULT Tower 5 offers the most compact form factor in the range, just right for parties and celebrations while still offering strong bass and 20 hours of battery life. The ULT Tower 7 upsizes things with a bigger cabinet for more dramatic sound performance and a longer 30-hour battery life.

As its name suggests, the ULT Tower Max is the largest model in the lineup, with Sony claiming it’s capable of delivering “the most powerful bass in the ULT Power Sound series yet.” Unlike the smaller models, the Max requires plugging into a wall socket to power its nine-speaker setup (three woofers, two mid units, and four tweeters).

The Beyond the Beat event also offered multiple ways to experience the new ULT Tower models, such as dance floors and karaoke booths. Both of these use cases benefit greatly from the ULT lineup’s built-in light system and powerful bass output. The event also saw performances from SB19, Maki, KAIA, Jeremy G, and A-Team throughout the night.

Sony ULT Tower Max – P88,889
