Kids in Need of Defense, co-founded by Angelina Jolie in 2008, assists unaccompanied children with legal representation. KIND ensures that these children receive psychosocial support and comprehensive services across the United States and Mexico. The organization has aided over 17,000 children by connecting them with pro bono attorneys who understand their cases. Many of these children have endured significant trauma and require specialized interventions.
