I just something completely insane. A second year architecture student sent me her work to review in an email and when I opened the document, I was completely dumbfounded by her work. It looked very polished, professional, and impressive. So, I went through the PDF and scanned through it to analyze the details and thought to myself there's no way a second year student made this and the reason for my doubtfulness was that they don't teach this content to students in second year, so how does she know all this? I scanned the document again more thoroughly only to find out that she'd used ai for the entirety of the work. Not only was it scarily good but the matter of the fact was afflicting to me because how do professors approve of this work? The student published work that she hasn't understood, written, modeled, or rendered and yet it completely bypassed the radar.
