I don’t know if this is the best sub for this, but here we go.

I was just wondering if anybody else struggles to enjoy reading books as much as other, more interactive hobbies and media, such as video games and movies.

I like reading, but I’d be lying if I said I enjoyed it as much as video games (I mostly play story-based single-player ones). I can play a game for hours, but I get fatigued after 30 minutes to an hour of reading at most. It doesn’t help that I’m a slow reader, a 500-page book takes me at least a month to finish.

I would really want to enjoy reading more as I think it is more beneficial and rewarding in the long run, but I don't know.

Anybody else?

Edit:
Wow, a lot of great comments and tips, thanks! I won’t be able to reply to all the good answers, but I’ll read them all and take your tips on board!
