The Nebraska Cornhuskers (17-0, 6-0) hit the road Thursday to face the Northwestern Wildcats (7-10, 0-6) in a Big Ten volleyball match. The Huskers are undefeated through 17 games for the 10th time in program history and the fourth straight season.

This is the 24th all-time meeting between the two schools, with Nebraska leading the series 22-1. The Huskers have won 18 consecutive matches against the Wildcats.

Nebraska volleyball was ranked No. 1 in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll released on Oct. 12. It marks the program's 131st week all-time at No. 1 in the AVCA Coaches Poll, the most of any program in the nation.

The Huskers come off a week that saw three players earn Big Ten Conference honors. Outside hitter Harper Murray was named co-Player of the Week, Bergen Reilly won Setter of the Week and Manaia Ogbechie was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Nebraska is on a 48-match regular-season winning streak that dates back to the 2024 season. It is the second-longest regular-season winning streak in program history in the NCAA era (since 1981).
