Android’s Developer Options menu has a reputation for being only useful for things like disabling animations and changing the Bluetooth codec. But it’s actually packed with plenty of useful options. For instance, the "Suspend execution for cached apps" option doesn’t get nearly enough attention for how useful it is. I recently turned it on, and it stopped my apps from draining the battery in the background.
