Traveling is one of the most wonderful experiences ever! You visit new places, meet interesting people, see beautiful landscapes, taste new food, and learn about other cultures! It is one of those core memories that stay with you forever.
It is true that traveling can be expensive, and not everyone can afford to go abroad. We would all go to see the Eiffel Tower if we could, or take a long walk on a vineyard in Tuscany, but most of us can't really afford a Grand Tour around Europe. Instead of booking an expensive hotel, we can go to an Airbnb. Instead of eating outside every day, we can cook for ourselves. There are also more affordable plane seats we can get. Granted, they might not be the most comfortable in the world, but hey, it's all part of the adventure! Most of the time, traveling won't be glamorous unless you have your own private jet, and it's not about glamour either. We get jet-lagged, the airline can lose our suitcase, we might forget our boarding pass at home, and so on. There are a lot of things that can go sideways when traveling, even if we have everything carefully planned out. The key to surviving all that is to take it as it comes: everything is part of the vacation, everything can be an anecdote for later.
There's one more thing we can do to travel even if we are on a budget, and that is, traveling around the country! We don't need to go abroad to see beautiful places or meet different people; the country is large enough as it is. We promise, no matter where you go, you'll taste new food, see amazing landscapes, and see things you've never seen before. You'd be surprised to see how different people can be from one region to another, even in the same country. Don't be afraid to be a tourist in your own land; it can be so much fun, and you can learn a lot.
