Some movies don't just make you laugh; they make you happier.

What do you love most about a comedy film?

Comedy is one of the hardest genres to work on. Everyone has a very specific idea of what "funny" means, so it is almost impossible to write humor that everyone will like. Ironically, it is also an old-time favorite. Don't get me wrong, I love drama, and action, and all things intense. The thrill of not knowing what will happen to the characters you've learned to love in the past couple of hours is unmistakably a perfect movie experience. Conflict, struggle, and overcoming obstacles are all must-haves in my mind. I like to feel engaged and interested as a viewer. So, this is not to say that comedy is better than any other genre, but it is definitely special.
