I am on my third book and I have decided I need to read all her work! My first was Arrival, and I found it to be a really interesting take on an alien invasion. I could see the initial strange logic in the beginning, but as the book came to a close, it was moving into almost body horror. I am currently searching for the next books in the series.
I moved on to the classic Parable of the Sower and was amazed again, I see why it is recommended often. It is very well written and wholly believable in the world's current state. I have just started Parable of the Talents and I have discovered a new level of what-the-hell. The fact that it was written in 98 and has seemed to predict so much of the global political landscape. I have reached chapter 15 and I just needed to talk about it.
Edit: The book was Dawn not Arrival, Arrival was another alien invasion book I read and that was total rubbish!
