The Cat Distribution System apparently offers two-for-one deliveries now, and this grandpa got selected without even leaving his neighborhood.

Pinto and Lentil are two approximately six-week-old kittens who were apparently very determined to get themselves off the streets. The little calico and tabby were playing in the road when they spotted their future pawrent's grandpa and decided to follow him home.

He tried putting them in a safe spot, probably thinking that would be the end of his kitten-rescue duties for the day.

Pinto and Lentil disagreed.

The tiny pair refused to stay where he left them and just kept following him. At that point, what else are you supposed to do? Grandpa brought his two little shadows inside and called his grandchild to ask if they wanted them.

We're pretty sure two kittens following your grandpa all the way home already counts as the CDS filling out the adoption paperwork on your behalf.

The answer was yes, and the babies got the ridiculously cute names Pinto and Lentil. They're staying safely indoors with Grandpa for now, and their future pawrent will be taking them home in a few months once they're a little older and pickup is possible.

The timing of their arrival made the whole thing even sweeter. Just two days earlier, their future pawrent had said goodbye to Stormy, their 15-year-old cat who had originally joined the family as a stray kitten herself.

They like to believe Stormy had something to do with sending these two little beans their way, and we can see why. Fifteen years ago, one stray kitten found her way into the family. Now two more have shown up and made absolutely sure they weren't going anywhere.

Pinto and Lentil didn't sit around waiting for someone to find them. They picked a grandpa, followed him all the way home, refused to leave, and landed themselves a future furmily.
