This illuminated single-sided Agip Oils sign features a translucent yellow panel with black and red details housed within a black-finished metal frame. Design elements include the company’s six-legged fire-breathing dog logo, and illumination is provided by 120-volt LEDs. This illuminated Agip sign was acquired by the selling dealer in 2024 and is now offered at no reserve in Salem, Oregon.
Agip S.p.A. was an Italian petroleum enterprise established by the Italian government in 1926, and the six-legged fire-breathing dog logo first appeared circa 1952.
The square sign features rounded edges, a translucent panel with a yellow vinyl cover with black and red details, and a black-finished metal frame. The piece measures approximately 28” square by 5” deep. The selling dealer notes imperfections, specs of black under the vinyl cover, and a 3″ scratch on the panel shown in the gallery.
Illumination is provided by internal 120-volt LED fixtures, and the power cord has an inline switch and a US-style two-prong wall plug.
The back of the sign is finished in white with two predrilled holes. The sign can also be displayed freestanding.
