SAN ILDEFONSO, ILOCOS SUR, Philippines — The province of Ilocos Norte recorded 115 new dengue cases in Morbidity Week 37 or mid-September, bringing the province’s total to 2,013 since January this year, according to the Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (PESU). The PESU also reported two dengue-related deaths this year, recorded in the towns of Solsona and Nueva Era. Both municipalities have logged more than 100 dengue cases since January.
