Saquon Barkley is listed as questionable for Monday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, although his final practice offered an encouraging sign.
The Eagles running back fully participated Saturday after being listed as limited Thursday and Friday with a hamstring injury. Barkley has missed Philadelphia’s past two games, leaving the offense without its featured runner during losses to Jacksonville and Carolina.
NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo previously reported that Barkley was in line to play against Dallas. His full participation supports that possibility, but the questionable designation means his availability has not been formally settled.
Barkley has rushed for 182 yards on 36 carries through four games, averaging 5.1 yards per attempt. He has also caught four passes for eight yards and has not scored a touchdown this season. His return would give Philadelphia another way to support Tanner McKee, particularly with DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks ruled out. Dameon Pierce handled 12 carries for 35 yards and a touchdown against Carolina last week.
Monday’s inactive list, released approximately 90 minutes before kickoff, will confirm whether Barkley is available. Even if he plays, his workload remains a separate question following the two-game absence.
