It took over 100 years for design to arrive at the simple conclusion of 1+1

I am an organic architect from Ukraine.

I created hundreds of sketches and models before arriving at the simple idea that a triangular grip and comfortable space for the thumb could be organically integrated. The concept of three-finger and hand ergonomics now seem as simple as 1+1.

With a war ongoing in Ukraine, architecture is not exactly flourishing. This led me to focus on how to improve a person’s inner state. To protect one’s mental state from the constant stresses of war. That is how I came to calligraphy and tried all my experience to creat the most convenient holder.

I studied organic architecture in Europe and completed many projects, repeatedly encountering the same issue: people are afraid to break rules, even when those rules are outdated.

It seems the world of oblique pen holders faces a similar situation. My design features a triangular grip zone and a comfortable space for the thumb, allowing the hand to remain in a relaxed position.
