IndiaAIFounders — Jamie Haller Makes Her New York Fashion Week Debut

Jamie Haller didn’t need a New York Fashion Week presence, or the approval of establishments like the CFDA, to build a cult following around her timeless, quietly stylish (and comfortable) Italian-made footwear, which she did years ago all the way from Los Angeles. But after launching apparel (which she’d previously designed for other brands) in 2024, the establishment approached.

Haller is part of the 2026 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, and thus made the trip to New York for her first fashion week presentation, welcoming many of those cult fans alongside the industry figures involved in her CVFF selection — including Aurora James, Steven Kolb, Eva Chen, Christopher John Rogers and Chloe Malle. (Haller even had to interrupt our interview to walk Malle through her collection; I understood.)

“It is my first New York Fashion Week doing a presentation,” Haller said. “There’s just more attention with the Fashion Fund… It seemed like a big opportunity I couldn’t pass up.”

So far, Haller has enjoyed the process; and if she feels pressure to take home a prize when the winner’s announced in October, she didn’t show it. “It’s super fun,” she said. “What I’m excited for is mentorship, the possibility of mentoring with somebody who’s built a business in a bigger way.” Haller’s current goals are incresing brand awareness and expanding internationally.

At the presentation, there was something special about seeing models — who were so diverse and unassuming, they were almost indistinguishable from the guests — wear and move around in head-to-toe Jamie Haller looks. It confirmed that, even though she launched her brand with shoes, it was always meant to encompass a full wardrobe. The numbers confirm it, too: Just two years after the expansion, her business is split 50/50 between footwear and apparel.

“It’s just been an amazing opportunity to tell a fuller story and to really show all the experience I have,” she said.
