I suppose seeing the world through rose tinted glasses is only one decision away. As I always say, weeks start on Tuesdays, though I'm finding it harder and harder to start as each week goes on. Is this a symptom of getting old? I guess it is, but I'm ready to confront it.
There is timeless wisdom in sharing uplifting messages through Facebook, just like grandmothers do, and I'm following the tradition by spreading them here. I believe hopecore is the antidote to the panic-inducing, stress-filled environment that seems to exist in every city around the world right now.
I imagine the only people who can truly relax are those who live away from screens altogether. They don't receive constant, indigestible, varied information. It's just like that ancient proverb recites: 'How is stress even real? Hahaha, just walk away from the screen hahaha, close your eyes or something'.
I guess that is true, but they are so hard to put away, though. There comes a time when we all should accept we're irreversibly addicted to our phones and to the social media craze, and even people who are offline tend to repeat social media discourse only with months of delay; not even they escape it, so we might as well deal with it or panic our lives away.
So I'll do my part by bombarding you with a handful of hopeful, optimistic, and cute memes, hoping they trigger plenty of feel-good emotions; it's the least I can do. We're getting bombarded anyway; might as well choose to get bombarded with good stuff every time we can.
You're welcome!
