Peacock has officially revealed the 23 celebrities competing in Season 5 of Alan Cumming’s Emmy-winning reality competition series, including The Lord of the Rings star Dominic Monaghan, Hacks actor Johnny Sibilly, and Saturday Night Live alum Casey Wilson. The announcement comes after Peacock renewed the Studio Lambert-produced series for three more seasons, extending it through Season 8.
The new installment of The Traitors is set to premiere in 2027. Cumming will return as host and executive producer, bringing another unpredictable group of celebrities to Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands.
The renewal comes after a strong run for the franchise, which has won seven Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Reality Competition Program and three consecutive Outstanding Host wins for Cumming.
According to Peacock first-party data and Nielsen, Season 4 also delivered the show’s biggest audience yet, with viewership reportedly increasing 72% from the previous season. The installment generated 8.1 billion minutes viewed and became the second-most-watched streaming original reality series of 2026, behind Love Island USA.
Peacock is also expanding the franchise with the civilian spinoff The Traitors: New Blood, which airs Thursdays on NBC before streaming on Peacock.
Dominic Monaghan is just one of the familiar faces joining The Traitors Season 5The Season 5 cast includes several recognizable names from television, reality shows, sports, and music, apart from Dominic Monaghan, Johnny Sibilly, and Casey Wilson.
Tony and Emmy winner Kristin Chenoweth is also part of the cast.
Reality television veterans include RuPaul’s Drag Race star Bianca Del Rio, Big Brother and The Amazing Race winners Jag Bains and Taylor Hale, and Survivor winners Michele Fitzgerald and Q Burdette. Rachel Robinson from The Challenge, The Bachelor star Joey Graziadei, Love Island USA star JaNa Craig, and Bravo personalities Craig Conover, Cynthia Bailey, and Gizelle Bryant are also competing.
The cast additionally features The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Bronwyn Newport, Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim, former NFL running back Rashad Jennings, singer Cody Simpson, comedian Iain Stirling, and internet personalities Boman Martinez-Reid, Emira D’Spain, and Whitney Leavitt.
