This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette coupe was acquired by the current owner in 2015 and refurbished and modified over the next eight years. The body was modified with a split-rear window and fender flares and mounted to a tubular frame equipped with C6-style suspension components, QA1 double-adjustable coilovers, power-assisted disc brakes, rack-and-pinion steering, and 18″ Budnik wheels. Power is provided by an LS376 crate engine linked with a Tremec TKO five-speed manual transmission and a Dana 44 rear end. Inside, the cabin was reupholstered in red leather and features ProCar seats, a RetroSound stereo, push-button ignition, Vintage Air air conditioning, power windows, and a Dakota Digital HDX gauge cluster. This modified C2 coupe is now offered by the seller, a BaT Local Partner, on behalf of the current owner with service records and a Pennsylvania title in the owner’s name.

A spec sheet and 45 pages of receipts showing work totaling $317k are shown in the gallery.

The fiberglass body was modified with a 1963-style split rear window, custom rear panels with widened wheel wells, hand-laid wheel flares at all four corners, a front spoiler, dual center exhaust outlets, and reworked door gaps and jambs. Thermo-Tec sound and heat insulation was installed beneath the floor coverings, and amenities include Vintage Air air conditioning, a heater, power windows, lap belts, push-button start with an RFID module, a center console with cup holders, a Dakota Digital clock, and a RetroSound AM/FM radio linked to a stack-mounted

A flat-bottomed Billet Specialties steering wheel is mounted to a Flaming River tilt column ahead of Dakota Digital HDX instrumentation with chrome bezels. The digital odometer shows 826 miles, which is said to reflect the distance driven since completion of the build. Total mileage is unknown.

The 6.2-liter GM LS376/480 V8 crate engine features a factory-installed “Hot Cam” and was rated at 495 horsepower. Fuel delivery is managed by an MSD Atomic LS electronic fuel injection system and an Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, and additional components include a Big Mouth throttle body, short-length chrome headers, a Billet Specialties Front Runner serpentine accessory drive, a DeWitt aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, a Holley oil pan, and an American Autowire wiring harness. The radiator support was modified for hood and fan clearance.

A Tremec TKO five-speed manual transmission, Dana 44 differential, and custom axle shafts were installed during the build. The floor pan and transmission tunnel were modified to accommodate the gearbox, and the fuel system incorporates a replacement tank equipped with an in-tank 255-lph fuel pump, a vapor canister, and a pressure-relief vent valve.
