A man has been charged with second-degree murder after allegedly shooting another man in North York last week.
Toronto Police announced his arrest Sunday, just two days after the victim died of his injuries.
Police said on Sept. 13 at 4:22 a.m., officers were called to the Lawrence Ave. E.-Underhill Dr. area, where the suspect and the victim were in separate vehicles when the suspect allegedly fired his gun at the victim and shot him.
Cops said life-saving measures were performed at the scene and the victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The victim, identified by police as 27-year-old Raghav Sharma, of Caledon, died of his injuries on Thursday.
Police said Tahir Mian, 23, of Stouffville, turned himself in to police on Saturday.
He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on Sunday morning.
