Hamilton Police released a photo on Monday of a suspect accused of assaulting a man who later died of his injuries.

Police said on May 31 at about 11:20 a.m., officers responded to reports of an assault in the Wentworth St. N.- Bristol St. area, where they found a man suffering from a serious head injury.

The man was taken to a hospital, where he remained until his death on July 30.

Police said investigators later determined that the assault happened a block east at Pinky Lewis Parkette.

Police also said investigators believe the suspect frequents a Tim Hortons just north of the park at 505 Cannon St. E. He is a Black male with a medium build and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, white shorts and a white bucket-style hat.

Offender wanted on nationwide warrant: OPP

A federal offender known to frequent the GTA and central Ontario is wanted on a nationwide warrant for allegedly breaching the conditions of his statutory release, Ontario Provincial Police said on Monday.

The OPP said Bradley Elliott, 43, was serving a four-year, one-month sentence for a lengthy list of offences including identity fraud with intent to obtain property, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, motor vehicle theft and assault with a weapon.

Police said he is 5-foot-9 and 165 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

They also said he has several tattoos: One on his right upper arm of barbed wire and the word “HAWK” inside a heart; one on his left arm of a cross with the word “Mom;” a right forearm tattoo with the word “Crystal;” a neck tattoo with the word “Bush;” another on his left arm with the word “Jayden” and a date of birth; a left forearm “Nanette” tattoo; a middle back “ELLIOTT” tattoo with two pistols; and a right arm tattoo of a cross.

Police said he’s known to frequent Barrie, Wasaga Beach, Alliston, Bradford, Collingwood and the GTA.

Two arrested in alleged road rage incident in Pelham

Niagara Regional Police said two people are facing assault charges following an alleged road rage incident that left a man with “significant injuries” in Pelham earlier this month.

Police said on Sept. 3 at about 11:25 p.m., officers responded to reports of a disturbance in the Hwy. 20-Merrittville Hwy. area and found an injured 67-year-old man.

Police said an initial investigation determined that the man’s injuries stemmed from an argument involving two occupants from another vehicle on Hwy. 406 that got violent. The occupants of the other vehicle fled before police arrived at the scene.

The victim was taken to a local hospital.

Police said Megan Williams, 30, of Welland, was arrested on Friday and charged with aggravated assault.

Donald Messervey, 31, of St. Catharines, was arrested on Saturday and also charged with aggravated assault.

Man arrested for downtown Barrie stabbing

Barrie Police said a man has been arrested after a stabbing on Saturday night injured a woman in the city’s downtown area.

Officers found the 54-year-old victim suffering from a stab wound on Maple Ave., a Barrie Police spokesperson told BarrieToday.com .

The woman was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

On Sunday morning, cops arrested a 41-year-old man in connection with the incident. He was charged with assault causing bodily harm.

Police said the two appear to be acquaintances who were involved in a dispute.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
