Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing the Real Madrid attacker Endrick.
According to reports via CaughtOffside, they are preparing a January move to sign the talented young Brazilian, and they could submit an offer of around €60-70 million.
The Brazilian attacker has attracted the attention of top clubs in recent months, but Real Madrid chose to keep him at the club during the summer transfer window. The 20-year-old was on loan at Lyon during the second half of last season, and he was exceptional for the French outfit. Endrick had 16 goal contributions last season.
There is no doubt that he is a phenomenal talent with a bright future, and he could develop into a key player for Manchester United. They could use more quality and depth in the final third, and Endrick could be a solid long-term acquisition.
Joshua Zirkzee has been linked with a move away from Manchester United, and they will need to replace him properly. It remains to be seen whether they can get a deal for the Brazilian international.
Meanwhile, the player is highly rated at the Spanish club, and Real Madrid will not want to lose him easily. Manchester United might have to pay a premium in order to get the deal done. Even though the investment might be high, Endrick has huge potential, and he might justify it in the long term.
The 20-year-old needs regular opportunities to develop at this stage of his career, and Manchester United must provide him with gametime assurance in order to convince him to join the club. If Real Madrid are unwilling to sell him permanently, perhaps a loan deal could be ideal for all parties.
