Since 2009, NYC-based photographer Maya Barkai has been exhibiting Walking Men, a traveling public art project. Barkai gathered images of the striding figure on Walk/Don't Walk signs from cities around the world, and presents them in life-sized displays.
The project has popped up in New York, Sydney, Taipei and Perm, Russia.
A spin-off installation compiled Men at Work representations, and was shown in Israel and New York.
Barkai sells limited edition prints here.
