Meghan Markle is giving followers a peek at what life looks like for her family back in the U.K.
The Duchess of Sussex, 45, shared a reel on Instagram Sunday showing herself, Prince Harry and their two children enjoying time together in Britain following their surprise return on Aug. 26.
The video opens with Harry, 41, and Meghan walking hand-in-hand outdoors. Their daughter, Princess Lilibet, 5, rides a bike nearby while their son, Prince Archie, 7, runs alongside her.
Wham!’s Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go plays over the clips, which end with Harry fishing with Archie and Lilibet. Another shot shows one of the children warming their feet beside a fire.
A U.K. flag and heart emoji appear over the video. Meghan didn’t add a caption.
Are the Sussexes looking for a home in Cotswolds?
The post comes just days after Meghan was spotted in the Cotswolds, where Page Six reports she had tea with what appeared to be another mom at Soho Farmhouse, an exclusive members-only club.
That sighting is also adding fuel to reports that Harry and Meghan have been looking for a home in the wealthy countryside area outside London, according to Page Six .
The family’s return to Britain marks a big change from the life they built in California.
Harry and Meghan left Britain in 2020 after stepping back from royal duties, complaining about the restrictions that came with royal life and the relentless attention from the British media. They eventually settled in Montecito, Calif., in a $14-million, nine-bedroom home .
Archie was born in 2019, while Lilibet was born in California in 2021. Before the family’s recent return, the children had only visited the U.K. twice.
There have been signs of a thaw in the Sussexes’ strained relationship with the royal family. In July, the entire family visited King Charles , a notable step toward repairing the relationship.
Return to Britain doesn’t mean they’re stepping back into royal life
The Sussexes are now living at a private property outside London in the Cotswolds area, while the palace has made it clear they remain non-working royals.
A senior palace official released guidance on Sept. 7 reiterating that Harry and Meghan are considered “private citizens” and cannot use the His or Her Royal Highness titles.
Harry and Meghan were reportedly surprised by how little notice they received about the letter.
“Charles wrote a letter to clarify they are not working royals and they are considered private citizens, so there is no confusion,” a source told Us Weekly . “The king just wanted the public and press not to be confused. They can’t be one foot in and one foot out.”
