Yet another Michael Jai White project - he seems to be starring in a lot of these crappy, direct-to-video action films. Does he have that many tax bills to pay? Drive Through Fire follows Jason, a disgraced military veteran battling opioid addiction, who discovers a woman is being trafficked during a rideshare trip. After killing a corrupt congressman to free her, Jason becomes the target of traffickers, the Russian mob, and law enforcement. While a homicide detective covers for him, the violence escalates, leading to a desperate rescue mission & big showdown with the criminal network. Starring Michael Jai White with Dan Bakkedahl, Jim Carlson, and Jennifer Bond. This looks like the worst kind of copaganda saving-trafficked-women fantasy thriller that is being remade every week.
