Macworld
TL;DR: Get a refurbished 10.2-inch iPad 8th Gen with a case and charger for $104.99 (reg. $269.99) during Deal Days.
A new iPad costs a few hundred dollars. That price is hard to justify for a tablet you’ll mostly stream shows, read email, and play games. If you missed Prime Day, we have Deal Days, Macworld’s version of Prime Day, right here, and a refurbished Apple iPad 8th Gen with a case and charger is on sale for $104.99 (reg. $269.99).
This Grade A refurb arrives in near-mint condition, with only light scuffing or scratches at most. Apple’s A12 Bionic chip runs everyday apps and games smoothly, and the 10.2-inch Retina display shows 2160 by 1620 pixels. Battery life reaches up to 10 hours. You also get Touch ID, an 8MP rear camera and a 1.2MP FaceTime camera. With 32GB of storage, this iPad suits streaming and everyday apps more than a big photo library.
Apple shipped it with iPadOS 17, and it updates to iPadOS 26. A protective case, charger and cable come in the box, along with a third-party 1-year parts and labor warranty.
