This 1999 Audi S3 was sold new in Greece, and it is powered by a turbocharged 1.8-liter inline-four paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. The selling dealer tells us that it has been modified with a forged rotating assembly, a larger turbocharger, a mass airflow sensor eliminator, high-flow fuel injectors, and an aftermarket intercooler, air intake, wastegate, and exhaust system as well as a custom engine control unit (ECU) tune, 320mm front disc brakes with four-piston calipers, and aftermarket springs teamed with Bilstein dampers. Finished in black over replacement black leather upholstery, the car also features a Hella mid-spoiler, a rear window wiper, later-model-style headlights and taillights, refurbished 18″ OZ Racing wheels, automatic climate control, a PRD boost controller, power-adjustable Recaro front sport seats, and an Alpine CD stereo. Now indicating 159k kilometers (~99k miles), this S3 is offered on dealer consignment in Athens, Greece, with Greek registration documents.

The car left the factory finished in Brilliant Black (LY9B), and the selling dealer states that the front bumper cover, hood, roof, right side, and front fenders have been repainted. The tailgate was also refinished when the Hella mid-spoiler was installed, and exterior details include a hatch spoiler, a rear window wiper, a twin-tip exhaust outlet, fog lights, and later-model-style headlights and taillights.

Refurbished 18″ OZ Racing wheels are wrapped in Pirelli tires. The selling dealer tells us that the front disc brakes feature red-finished four-piston calipers mounted over 360mm multi-piece rotors, and the rear disc brake calipers are also finished in red. The suspension has been modified with aftermarket springs and Bilstein dampers.

The power-adjustable Recaro front sport seats and the rear bench seat were reupholstered in black leather under current ownership. Appointments include automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows and door locks, and an Alpine CD stereo.

The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 280-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level, and a central display. A PRD boost controller is affixed to the upper steering column trim, while aftermarket gauges are located near the headlight switch and the driver-side A-pillar. The digital odometer indicates 159k kilometers (~99k miles).

The turbocharged 1.8L 20-valve inline-four has reportedly been modified with a forged rotating assembly, a larger turbocharger, a mass airflow sensor eliminator, high-flow fuel injectors, and a custom engine control unit (ECU) tune as well as an aftermarket intercooler, air intake, wastegate, and exhaust system. The selling dealer tells us that work carried out within the last 500 kilometers included replacing the timing belt, water pump, and camshaft cover seals as well as changing the oil and various filters. Images captured during the engine build can be viewed in the gallery below.

Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a Haldex-based Quattro all-wheel-drive system.

The vehicle is being sold on its Greek registration, which serves as an ownership document in Greece.
