Would you follow a stray tuxedo cat to an empty table?

Dog people love to boast about the jobs their doggos can do, but nobody ever mentions all the hardworking purrfessional felines that help the world go round with their daily jobs. From cats in Thailand selling fish, fruit, and merchandise to bar cats carrying around a QR code to allow customers to pay their bills with a side of sass, cats have been "helping" hoomans for centuries. They may take frequent feline nap breaks during their shift and give you a whole lot of cattitude when you ask them to do something they don't want to, but they always end up getting the job done one way or another. It might just take them a little longer than you expect.

In Budva, Montenegro, we found another such feline with a job that has gained them viral status. They've been employed by a restaurant and prosciutteria to lead pawtential customers to empty tables. The cat is a local stray, but don't let those words fool you - it's a tuxedo cat that takes their job as meowtre d'extraordinaire very seriously. It sits around the corner from the restaurant in front of a sign for the restaurant, but bigger than their menu, is a sign that says "FOLLOW THE CAT."

Now, here's where the internet got its metaphorical knickers in a twist. The cat then climbs up on the table to claim it and waits for the customers to sit down before leaving the table. Cat people everywhere claimed that they would fly to Montenegro just to have a cute interaction with this purrfessional stray, and others outright denied that this should even be allowed due to the hygienic aspect of the cat's purrfect little toe beans touching the table, where people will eat.

What do you think? Would you avoid this place at all costs because of hygiene or would you go for the inclusive-feline expurrience?
