When you think of cats and toddlers in the same sentence it is usually along the lines of the cat taking down the toddler after the toddler did something to anger it. And while the cat's reaction might be a little over the top, it is usually somewhat warranted considering that the kid likely pulled, smacked or yanked something on the cat. But today we have quite the different tail to tell, one about a cat who was so taken by a sweet toddler's behavior that it decided to take the time to teach the toddler something.

The relationships that young kids have with animals are truly inspiring. Something about the innocence of both the child and the animal coming together is utterly heartwarming. And this bond is even more delightful when it is between a cat and a child as we all know just how picky and particular our cats can be. So when we heard about a feline taking the time to actually teach a kid something, well you know we had to share it with you.

It just so happened to be that while a cat was out for a walk with its pawrent, a toddler was also out for a stroll with their parent. When the two met there was an instant connection, and after some careful instruction from the toddler's father on how to properly and cordially greet the feline the two instantly became firm friends. Perhaps the cat saw a bit of itself in the child, or perhaps he could just sense that the child had a good soul. One way or another that which happened next was truly heartwarming.
