Unless you're a Sacramento fan, your team has secured at least one win so far this season. If you are a Sacramento fan, I would like to express my deepest condolences and encourage you to seek help whenever you need it.

The WNBA season ended this weekend with the Golden State Valkyries winning their first championship in their second year of existence. I was shocked, but not that shocked, that they won it all. The matchup against Atlanta was perfect for them. Both teams played incredibly tight defense, which made for low-scoring but still entertaining games. As someone who watched the Valkyries go to town on my team, the New York Liberty, in a regular-season game, it's no wonder they won it all, even without a superstar. I think Gabby Williams proved herself a WNBA superstar, not merely a superstar on the French National team. The fact that this team didn't win any All-WNBA awards proves that the media is not always right about who is "valuable" and who is not. Ultimately, I didn't care much about the outcome of this series because my beloved Liberty wasn't playing. Part of me wanted Angel Reese to win to stick it to everyone who berates her online, but she is young, and her time will come.

I understand that if you clicked on this meme list, you might not particularly care about the WNBA and only want to see memes about the NBA. If that's you, the WNBA tangent is over, and you can enjoy your LeBron memes now.
