At the same time, persons with disabilities and senior citizens with valid IDs are entitled to free parking. Light Rail Manila has also confirmed that attendants will be present to assist drivers.

The Dr. Santos Station parking lot is the first of its kind along the LRT-1. This follows the two facilities that previously opened at the LRT-2 Santolan and Legarda Stations. These come as the Department of Transportation continues its Park and Ride and Road to Rail initiatives, which promote bimodal transportation and commuting among private vehicle owners.
