Just yesterday, reports surfaced that the Chicago Bears would be aggressive at the NFL’s November 10 trade deadline and that they had already spoken with the Los Angeles Chargers about Khalil Mack. The Chargers insist they aren’t ready to trade anyone, but a loss on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams would drop them to 0-7, and that might get them to listen. Especially if other teams are willing to move their defensive linemen before the deadline and there are multiple suitors.

Earlier today, NFL Insider Jordan Schultz shared a clip from his segment on Ryan Clark’s The Pivot about the two teams he expects to be most aggressive in the next two weeks.

“I think we’re heading into a very active NFL trade deadline,” Schultz said. “We could see anywhere from 12 to, call it, 20 trades, and two teams I’m watching closely: the 49ers and Bears. I’ve heard both teams connected to several defensive players, including rushers Josh Sweat, Khalil Mack also DeForest Buckner. Along with some names who aren’t necessarily on the trade block. I think both Chicago and San Francisco want to be aggressive, and I’ll be shocked if they don’t make a move before the deadline.”

The Bears are 5-2, second in the NFC North, and are currently the 5th seed in the NFC, and history suggests general manager Ryan Poles is willing to make an in-season trade.
