Nolan Winking's Cappy Audition is a viral video in which content creator Nolan Winking unofficially auditions for the role of Cappy, a sentient hat in the video game Super Mario Odyssey, for the Super Mario Odyssey movie, which has not been announced or confirmed to be the sequel to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
The audition video was uploaded to Instagram in April 2026. It became the subject of memes on TikTok and Instagram Reels in September 2026, including brainrot edits that alter the clip in a variety of absurd ways. A remixed audio of Winking making Cappy noises also became the subject of dance and lip dub videos. Winking responded positively to the memes that month.
