This 2009 Pontiac G8 GT was purchased new by the seller’s spouse, and it has been registered in California from new. The car is finished in Pacific Slate Metallic over Onyx leather and is powered by a 6.0-liter V8 linked with a six-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes the Premium Package, a sunroof, fog lights, a rear spoiler, 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels, heated power-adjustable front seats, a Blaupunkt 11-speaker sound system, a CD stereo, cruise control, and dual-zone automatic climate control. This G8 GT has 190k miles and is now offered by the seller on behalf of their spouse at no reserve with the owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, and a clean California title.
The car is finished in Pacific Slate Metallic (64U) and features a sunroof, fog lights, dual hood scoops, fender vents, and a rear spoiler. The trunk lid and rear bumper cover were replaced in 2015, following an accident. The headlight assemblies have also been replaced. Dings are noted on the body, and photos showing finish imperfections are included in the gallery.
The 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Dean Road Control 2 All Season tires, which are said to have been fitted in April 2024. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated discs. The seller tells us that the tire pressure monitor system was also repaired in April 2024 and that the rear brake pads were replaced in September 2026.
The heated power-adjustable bolstered front seats and contoured rear bench are upholstered in Onyx leather. Appointments include a Blaupunkt 11-speaker sound system, a CD stereo, cruise control, a leather-wrapped shift lever, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Service since May 2024 has included installing rear-shelf subwoofers and replacing the headliner, rear-left window regulator, and rear door speakers. The driver-seat upholstery is damaged, and the front passenger seat upholstery is worn.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 180-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 190k miles.
The 6.0-liter L76 V8 was factory rated at 355 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque. The camshaft, oil pump, and lifters were replaced in 2016, and the seller reports the Displacement on Demand system was repaired at that time. Work this year is said to have included replacing hoses as well as the water pump, alternator, and battery.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission was overhauled in February 2021.
The Carfax report shows at least one open recall.
The car most recently passed a California emissions test in March 2025.
